It's summertime in Crystal Cove, California, and sales are brisk at the outdoor Food Fair. There's fresh bread, artisan cheese, gourmet cupcakes, plus Hanna Denton's delicious pies. When despised local food critic Heath Barr is found dead, Hanna and the other vendors who received bad reviews are not sorry to hear the news. But with police chief Sam Genovese--an old crush--suspecting her, Hanna must pinch the real perp or face doing all her future baking behind bars.
